A beautiful example of a late Victorian three stone diamond ring that was made circa 1890-1900. The shank is 18ct gold and is called a carved half hoop because of the scroll work design on both sides. It has been set with three well matched good white old mine cut diamonds that weigh two carats in total. There are small diamond points, as they are called, on either side of the large diamonds. This gives the ring a good line and was often done in the Victorian period.
