A spectacular 18ct gold ring that was made in the 1930s. It has been claw set with a wonderful Colombian emerald, that is a beautiful deep, vivid green. Photographs can never really show the true colour of emeralds and this emerald is a much better colour in the flesh. The emerald is surrounded by two bright white and lively carats of old mine cut diamonds set in platinum settings. They are good white stones and are very well matched. The ring is accompanied by a gemmological report stating that the emerald is a natural stone with indications of moderate clarity enhancement originating from Colombia.
