This ring would make a perfect engagement ring. It is platinum and was made in the 1920s. In the centre is a wonderful cornflower blue sapphire that weighs approximately 2.70 carats carats. It is a gorgeous vibrant colour. Around it are graduated diamonds set in lined settings. In between on either side of the sapphire are two little hearts set with diamonds. The shoulders have pretty engraved detail. This ring is accompanied by a gemmological report stating that it is a natural stone with indications of heating, originating from Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
