It has been claw set with a natural unheated Sri Lankan (Ceylon) sapphire that has a known weight of 3.45 carats. Around it are twelve claw set diamonds old mine cut diamonds with a further old mine cut diamond set in to each of the shoulders that have an approximate total weight of two carats.
