The diamonds are good bright white stones and very well matched. The top is platinum and the shank is 18ct gold. The outer edge has been millgrained which is a nice detail in this type of ring. This effect is achieved by the use of a millgrain wheel which is a small, decorated wheel that leaves a trail of miniature balls when rolled along a sharp edge of metal.
