A beautiful 15ct gold ring that was made circa 1820. It has a charming message on the reverse that says “A small tribute of regard from J.H.C.R”. The top is a lovely detailed design and has been claw set with three foil backed crysolites, two pear shaped and an oval shaped chrysolite in the centre. Chrysolite is a powerful stone of protection and was prized by the ancient Egyptians as it was thought to summon the strength of the sun and drive away darkness. The Greeks called it the Golden stone which is the original meaning of the word. In Christianity it symbolises life death and rebirth.<\/p>\n
