A lovely diamond cluster ring that was retailed by Garrards, the Crown jewellers who were based at 112 Regent St. W1. They were formerly known as the Goldsmiths & silversmiths Company Ltd. This ring has been rub over set with good bright old mine cut diamonds with a larger one in the centre that weighs approximately 0.65 carats. It is surrounded by well matched smaller diamonds on a slightly lower level. It’s likely that the antique cut diamonds have come from an earlier piece of jewellery which was remodelled by Garrards as a special commission.
