This is a spectacular ring that was made in the early 1900s. It is in the Art Nouveau style that was prevalent at that time. The clue is in the name as it was a new style in reaction to the somewhat fussy Victorian jewellery that had pre-dated it. Often the inspiration was taken from botanical motifs as in this example. The ring is accompanied by a gemmological report stating that the diamonds are natural stones (colour approx H-L \/ clarity approx VS-SI) with an estimated total weight of 3.30 carats.
