Edwardian 15ct Gold Lurcher & Hare Coursing Brooch

Edwardian (1901-1914)

83K

An unusual pin which features a lurcher chasing a hare. Both have ruby eyes and are beautifully engraved. A surete (sûreté) is a stick pin with a fixed ornament on one end and a detachable ornament on the other. It came in use around 1910. This pin comes in it’s original case.
