Pair of Regency Pinchbeck Bracelets

Georgian (1714 - 1830)

These bracelets are a good design, and were made circa 1820. They were worn as a pair which was the fashion of the period. So often they have been split up over the years but these have survived the test of time. They are pinchbeck which basically means that they are a mixture of base metals such as zinc, tin and copper, and do not tend to tarnish like brass does.
