Victorian (1839 -1901)

A really good example of a Georgian mourning ring. It is 18ct gold and in excellent condition. It says "In memory of " around the shank in black enamel and is engraved with the name and date of the person commemorated inside the shank." James Barry Obt (died) 4 nov 1847 Ae ( aged) 60.
