Flat Cut Garnet Georgian Brooch

Georgian (1714 - 1830)

I always enjoy buying Georgian pieces. This brooch is a good example of a Georgian lace pin. The flat cut almandine garnets are closed backed, and are red/purple in colour, much favoured in that period. The gold is slightly higher than 9ct.
