In the 19th century there was a fashion in the Austro- Hungarian empire for Renaissance inspired jewellery. This led to many pieces being made from necklaces to earrings and rings. This ring has a bracelet to match.It was made circa 1870 and has wired natural pearls, and garnet doublets.
