These delightful 18ct. bow earrings with rock-crystal, diamond-shaped drops were made by the celebrated Swedish design studio, Ateljé Stigbert. Marked on screwback fitting, '18K GVH' and Swedish gold mark). Ateljé Stigbert was one of the best known producers of Swedish modernist jewellery of the 1950s. Founded by the goldsmith Stig Engelbert in the early 1940's, their style consisted mostly of variations of plant motifs on brooches, bracelets and necklaces, but there are also strictly geometric and abstract pieces.
